Amid self-confessed insecurities, April did not take her role to educate and encourage writers lightly. Where she felt weak, God proved strong and used April to deliver a word in due season that equipped and inspired the members of the Christian Authors Guild.
April said, “God sees all of time at the same time. We each have a writing career timeline that God called us to and He created it.” She reminded us that our writing career is unique and special and shouldn’t be compared to that of another.
April also highly recommended critique partners saying they are her “most valuable resource.”

I loved April’s insight that God knows every moment of our writing timeline–all at once. It makes my insecurities and concerns seem so irrelevant. It’s so amazing to realize God knows the last word we will ever write, even before we write the first word. Makes you want to write even more!
