During the critique sessions what are the guidelines used regarding how large of a document to bring to be reviewed?

    • June 3, 2017

Hi Susan. Thank you for your interest and question.

2500 words is the limit for this retreat.

Would this conference be beneficial to new, unpublished writers?

    • July 24, 2017

Absolutely! Likely a significant percentage of attendees are unpublished. You will learn so much through the critiquing process led by one of the best in the country — Eva Marie Everson, President of Word Weavers International.

This will be my first writers retreat. What’s the process for getting a critique during one of the critique sessions. Do we need to submit something in advance? Thanks!

    • August 11, 2017

Bring at least six copies to the retreat for the several critique sessions. We will be using the Word Weavers proven method of critiquing.
