2019 CAG Meeting Monday, March 5th.


Guest speaker Edwina Cowgill will present “How To Maximize Your Writing Time.”


Edwina Cowgill’s desire is to “Share the Heart of God with the Hearts of Women.” She does this through her speaking and her writing. Her blog, which can be found at, contains over 600 posts that she has written, including her popular Advent series, The Gifts of Advent.

Edwina has written articles for the Houston Examiner, the, Live Out Loud, the Midsouth Diocese of the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church and other church newsletters.

She has published four short stories through her membership in Christian Writers United: Kate’s Story: A Story of Redemption and Love, Count it All Joy, The Front Porch and Christmas Gifts. In 2017, Edwina’s memoir “Abandoned Into the Heart of God,” was published under a pen name.

Edwina is the owner of Monarch Writing Services, a full-service editing company, and she is a certified wedding planner. She is married to her soul mate, Dave and she is the mother of two adult children and “Nana” to two wonderful grandsons.

 All live (and lively) meetings of CAG are held at Prayer & Praise Christian Fellowship, 6409 Bells Ferry Rd., Woodstock, GA 30189. We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.



The next CAG meeting will be Monday, March 5th.



Many of our CAG members are also members of Word Weavers International. Word Weavers is a critique group that is essential for writers who want to advance in their craft. The Woodstock chapter meets on the third Monday of each month at the same location as CAG.  Annual dues for WW Woodstock chapter is $45 and may be paid at
